Decoding USELESS Coin’s setup as Bithumb listing triggers $3.2M whale buy

If $0.20 fails, record Open Interest could turn enthusiasm into forced exits.

Useless Coin [USELESS] is up more than 19%, with its weekly gains now exceeding 169% as of press time. The memecoin’s daily trading volume was down but was large enough to meet liquidity needs, as the volume-to-market-cap ratio was at 47%.

The rally comes after three days of a correction from the $0.3188 level. An exchange listing, a spike in Open Interest (OI), and capital inflow from large holders all contributed to this surge. Here are the full details:

What’s fueling the memecoin’s rally?

The primary driver was Useless Coin‘s exposure to the Asian market, which increased participants’ trading activity. That is, the Bithumb exchange listed the memecoin against KRW, indicating that attention was expanding.

As a result, the OI of the memecoin hit a new all-time high of $146 million. This was more than double its peak OI of $70 million in October 2025. This figure of OI indicated that buy contracts for USELESS were on the rise.

Additionally, large holders pumped capital. For instance, a whale pulled 14 million USELESS tokens worth $3.20 million from Coinbase Prime Custody to a private wallet at the $0.215 zone.

The memecoin’s transactions showed that even institutions were accumulating, with major transfers going to Fireblocks Custody and cold wallets.

For instance, more than 440K tokens left Gate exchange to Fireblocks, while 2.20 million coins entered KuCoin’s cold wallet.

This data showed that serious players were accumulating for the long haul. Traders need to watch the chain activities of these wallets, which include market makers, to help gauge their next moves.

Can this buying activity keep USELESS above the $0.19 level?

Technically, USELESS was ranging around its 2026 highs but on its way toward equalling this price point. The aforementioned buying activity at the $0.19-$0.21 support hinted that a continuation may be next in the short term.

Still, the memecoin traded 64% away from its all-time high of $0.4375.

But bears at the $0.30 supply zone could cap this uptrend, especially if the memecoin sector weakens. Losing $0.20 as support puts bears in control while staying above it and breaking past $0.30 reinforces buyer dominance.

The Choppiness Index reading at 50 was declining, indicating the uptrend was slowly gaining strength. Even though the MACD had turned green, the small bars showed the uptrend lacked enough momentum. Therefore, USELESS Coin is currently bullish by market structure as momentum returns.

Final Summary

  • Useless Coin is up by 19% in the past 24 hours after the Bithumb listing and large whale accumulation.
  • USELESS was trading between $0.19 and $0.30, with bulls’ momentum slowly returning after a brief correction.
