Useless Coin drops 13% as $1.68M unlock adds pressure – Will $0.29 hold?

USELESS dropped 13% as weaker participation and fresh supply tested its crucial $0.2908 support.

Useless coin drops 13% - Can fresh supply defend KEY support?

As the weak market conditions and sector rotations pressured high-beta assets, Useless Coin [USELESS] declined 13.19% over the last 24 hours at press time.

The price fall emerged alongside a broader crypto market correction, which reduced risk appetite across the weaker-performing assets. Besides the price decline, USELESS also recorded a 23.73% decrease in trading volume within the same 24-hour period.

This lower volume suggested that market participation contracted as the token lost part of its weekly parabolic gains. Meanwhile, capital rotated toward stronger-performing sectors, leaving the meme narrative with less support during the broader pullback.

The selloff, therefore, reflected a wider market weakness alongside the declining participation instead of an isolated token-specific development.

Fresh supply adds another pressure point

Additionally, a $1.68 million supply unlock introduced another challenge as the memecoin navigated the broader market-driven decline.

In particular, Coinbase Prime Custody and Cold Storage unlocked 5.6 million USELESS into circulation. Reportedly, a portion of the unlocked supply was immediately moved toward trading venues capable of increasing available market liquidity.

Notably, approximately 1.53 million USELESS, worth roughly $465,000, went directly towards Wintermute’s market-making engines. An additional 721,000 USELESS tokens, valued around $210,000, landed on Gate.io to deepen the resting spot books.

These deposits introduced accessible liquidity as the trading activity weakened alongside the daily price correction.

USELESS exchange outflows challenge the supply pressure

Despite the token unlock, USELESS recorded net spot outflows as some large holders continued withdrawing tokens from the exchanges.

According to CoinGlass analytics, the recent memecoin’s Spot Netflow had reached roughly -$90,570 as of press time, implying withdrawals exceeded deposits within that period.

Those withdrawals, therefore, limited the immediately available exchange supply, partly offsetting concerns around the renewed token circulation.

Also notably, the recent sessions had also produced several sizable positive netflow spikes before the netflows turned negative again.

The positioning, therefore, remained unclear instead of showing a sustained rush to move USELESS onto exchanges. Importantly, the contrast became crucial since the unlocked supply alone did not determine whether sellers would dominate.

In fact sustained withdrawals could limit the readily tradable supply in case the pattern persisted amid the price correction. The technical price structure provided the clearest test of whether those counteracting components could support a reversal.

Can THIS support keep the structure intact?

After its recent parabolic rally, USELESS retreated after testing  the $0.3460 price level, but buyers kept the price above the key $0.29083 support. That support defense mattered since the $0.29083 price level separated the latest recovery leg from a deeper price correction.

More importantly, the RSI indicator stabilized around 61.38 as USELESS held its support, instead of collapsing alongside the recent pullback. Furthermore, the indicator also remained comfortably above neutral territory, leaving room for the bulls to take over and push the price higher.

The Parabolic SAR indicator, on the other hand, stayed below the prevailing market price around $0.21435, preserving the broader recovery structure despite the recent decline.

Therefore, a sustained hold of the $0.29083 support would enable USELESS to revisit the $0.3460 region and challenge the rejection area.

A strong price breakout above the $0.3460-level could subsequently expose the $0.4000-resistance level within reach. Losing this key support, however, would expose the lower support at the $0.23450 price level.
