Why Celestia crypto’s breakdown below $0.47 could trigger more TIA losses
Celestia's sharp decline and shrinking Open Interest exposed TIA to further losses after losing crucial support.
Celestia [TIA] plunged 14.03% in 24 hours at press time, as fresh macroeconomic uncertainty triggered heavy selling across the altcoin market, deepening its recent losses.
This steep decline accompanied the Federal Reserve’s hawkish stance and persistent inflation concerns, which weakened demand for riskier altcoins.
Particularly, the Federal Reserve preserved its cautious monetary policy stance on the 28th of October. Additionally, September’s PCE inflation matched expectations at 3.6% annually, validating concerns about extended restrictive interest rates.
Despite the price decline, the token’s trading volume interestingly surged 38.04% to $72.72 million.
This divergence implied an elevated trading activity during the sell-off, even though the volume increase could not solely establish sellers’ dominance.
TIA traders retreat as Open Interest collapses
Celestia’s derivatives market registered a considerable contraction in trader exposure, beyond the spot market decline.
According to CoinGlass, TIA’s Open Interest (OI) dropped 28.60% to $75.86 million, suggesting that traders closed positions as the token’s price continued falling. The shrinking OI alone, however, could not distinguish voluntary position closures from forced liquidations.
Therefore, for Celestia, the depreciation emerged in the midst of a broader retreat in the speculative participation. As the derivatives positions diminished, the market encountered reduced leveraged exposure despite the increased trading activity.

Spot and Futures sellers tighten their grip
The bearish pressure notably extended across Celestia‘s spot and derivatives markets, confirming the weakness evident in its price performance.
As CryptoQuant analytics, TIA’s Spot Taker Cumulative Volume Delta (CVD) highlighted taker-sell dominance, implying aggressive sellers outweighed buyers executing market orders. Additionally, the Futures Taker CVD also showed taker-sell dominance, revealing similar behavior among the derivatives investors.
These readings together pointed towards a coordinated bearish pressure across the two markets. Noteworthy, unlike the falling OI, which implied declining outstanding positions, the CVD indicator highlighted the direction of aggressive trading.
The persistent selling across both markets therefore complicated TIA’s recovery attempts, and without a stronger buying participation, the token could struggle to reverse its recent losses.

TIA loses crucial support as bears advance
On the daily timeframe chart, Celestia’s price structure strengthened the bearish outlook after the token broke below the $0.4727 support level.
Notably, the price breakdown emerged after an earlier rejection around the $0.5548 zone, which had already weakened the token’s recovery structure.
The Parabolic SAR indicator, meanwhile, remained above the price at around $0.6616 as of press time, preserving its bearish signal.
Additionally, further weakness emerged from the RSI indicator, which fell to 39.44, remaining below its moving average, and suggesting deteriorating buying strength.
Consequently, the breakdown exposed the $0.3277 level as the next major support, even though buyers still had a better chance of intervening before that level.
A decisive reclaim of the $0.4727 resistance, however, could ease immediate selling pressure and reopen a recovery attempt toward the $0.5548 region.

Final Summary
- Celestia plunged 14% as selling intensified and traders reduced their derivatives exposure.
- TIA’s breakdown below $0.4727 raised the risk of further losses toward $0.3277.
