Africa Blockchain Festival 2026 names AMBCrypto as official media partner
Africa Blockchain Festival (ABF), Africa’s premier blockchain and digital economy conference, has announced AMBCrypto as an official media partner for ABF2026.
ABF2026 takes place October 15-17, 2026, at the Sarit Expo Center, Nairobi, Kenya, under the theme “Capital, Code, and Continuity: Building Africa’s Permanent Digital Economy.“ The festival targets 3,000+ registered conference delegates across Days 1 and 2, with 10,000+ total exhibition footfall as the event opens its floor to Nairobi’s broader tech and business community. Delegates include blockchain builders, institutional investors, enterprise leaders, regulators, founders, and developers from across Africa and beyond.
Building on ABF2025’s inaugural success
The inaugural Africa Blockchain Festival in Kigali, Rwanda, drew 2,000+ attendees from 20+ countries with Binance as Title Sponsor. The event featured 60+ speakers, 30+ exhibitors, 50+ companies, and 20+ regulators, and contributed directly to Rwanda passing its virtual assets bill — a landmark piece of legislation shaped in part by the policy conversations that took place on the ABF stage.
ABF2026 moves to Nairobi for its second edition at a significantly greater scale. Nairobi is East Africa’s most connected tech ecosystem, home to the VASP Act, M-Pesa, and the highest VC concentration per capita on the continent.
What happens at ABF2026
The three-day program is structured around the event’s three core pillars:
Day 1. Capital: Investors, founders, fintech leaders, and policymakers in one room. Keynotes, investor panels, startup pitch qualifying rounds, 35+ exhibition booths, and an evening networking reception.
Day 2. Code: Developers, protocol builders, students, and the officials regulating what they build. Technical keynotes on blockchain infrastructure, AI, and digital identity. Four parallel hands-on workshop tracks. Startup Pitch Competition finals and live winner announcement. Speaker and Investor Dinner for VIP guests.
Day 3. Continuity: Invite-only. Speakers, senior investors, government ministers, and VIP partners. Morning: ABF2026 x 5Stars Premier League 7-a-Side Football Tournament. Afternoon: curated small-group tour of select Nairobi landmark sites. Evening: Closing Ceremony Dinner at a private Nairobi venue with keynote remarks from the Founder and the ABF2027 city announcement.
Pre-event pan-African roadshow
Ahead of the main event, ABF runs the Block & Chill Pan-African Roadshow across seven cities — Nairobi, Lagos, Abuja, Accra, Kampala, Cairo and Cape Town — starting in July 2026. The roadshow builds community momentum and gives sponsors and partners early activation in key African markets.
