ALGO technical analysis: Market continues to soar in bullish territory

The financial trajectory of ALGO throughout last year was emblematic of a tumultuous period for the cryptocurrency, predominantly characterized by bearish dominance. However, the outlook for Algorand's price prediction in 2024 appears more optimistic as bullish momentum returns to the market.

The analysis commenced ALGO's attempt to breach $0.23. A continuous test of this level led to a rejection in mid-April. The price fell below the critical $0.20 mark. This triggered a series of declines, with the price making lower highs and lower lows.

June marked a significant low, with ALGO retracting to its lowest support level at $0.09. This level served as a critical threshold to forestall further depreciation while the price struggled to reach the $0.15 support-turned-resistance due to insufficient buying interest.

Towards the end of October, bullish efforts attempted to elevate the price. A notable resurgence led the altcoin to ascend above the $0.15 in December. By mid-month, the asset reclaimed its position over $0.20.

However, this momentum was short-lived. A subsequent test of the $0.23 resistance was met with rejection, precipitating a regression to the $0.15 support level close to the end of January. 

February saw a renewed bullish effort, propelling the price above $0.23 as the month ended. By March, the bulls were eyeing to overcome the resistance at $0.28, with the cryptocurrency trading at $0.27.

Even after a slight price correction, buyers were still quite active in the market. If they manage to push the price above the current resistance level, it will lead the price to test $0.4 in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, $0.5 and $0.7 can be next on the bulls’ radar. 
 

Notably, these price levels can also pose significant resistance to further gains as they have not been breached since May 2022. If the bears gain momentum, ALGO might find itself trading closer to the current support at $0.25. A more pronounced drop can even lead it back to $0.23.

The predictive models have yielded optimistic forecasts for the asset, projecting a substantial growth trajectory over the coming years. ALGO is forecasted to trade at an average price of $4 by 2027. This would entail overcoming the all-time high (ATH) within the next three years.
