The much-awaited updates concerning with the currency in the community of Cardano [ADA] are finally released this week. Having been scheduled from last week due to the occupancy of the two testnets and their Chief, Charles Hoskinson addressing various technical conferences by representing IOHK and Cardano around the world spreading their vision and presenting their research papers.

Cardano is a distributed platform for computing which works on the technology of Blockchain for the cryptocurrency, Cardano. It operates on its own technology on blockchain called the Cardano Settlement Layer [CSL].

This blockchain technology has surfaced with power solely with the efforts of its engineers and research developers at Input Output Hongkong [IOHK]. It runs one of the very impressive cryptocurrency platforms available in the market today.

The week’s developmental highlights are innovational and are implemented to the society. The core developmental highlight is the enhanced Version 1API. The team focused on the initial test coverage. The developers added small tools to effectively generate and approve JSON schemas to the wallet’s backend API specifics.

The Daedalus update mechanism was tested by the team in the possibility of QA tasks for Daedalus 0.10.0 with Cardano 1.2.0 release. The team has improved and upgraded the multiple User Interface [UI] implementations such as preventing the drag and drop actions on static UI elements and fix wallet navigation tabs where in case of the Japanese language, the long text would be cut shorten in multiple lines on smaller screens.

The team also brought better Electron IPC API and improved Cardano API error handling for regular maintenance.

With regards to Networking, to speed the verification and application of blocks was the effortful engagement of the team. The developers have discovered a flaw and fixed it in profiling and criterion benchmarks of verification of blocks, to optimized calls to getCurrentSlot, getAdoptedBVFull.

An analysis of profile data generated by a senior engineer has now led to a new idea on optimization.



On another note under Networking, the researchers of the Peer Discovery Implementation have continued to make efficient progress. The news as of last week was that the public interface has been completed, one potential security problem has been fixed and the routing table maintenance is nearing completion.

The team of technology support had received a total of 748 tickets and out of which only 322 were resolved successfully. They saw a decrease in the number of tickets received. According to the tech support team, the top issues that were reported were:

  • Problem with syncing.
  • Unable to update the wallet.
  • Issues with connecting to the network.
  • Misc.

Binance Coin surges by 9% in 24-hours after DEX announcement; breaks out out of 'saucer bottom' pattern

Binance Coin [BNB] is nothing short of becoming the best performing crypto asset of 2019, as it creates higher highs every day. In a recent surge, BNB went up by approximately 12% in 24-hours breaking out of the ‘saucer bottom’ pattern.

BNB has been on a bull run since December 2018, it has surged by approximately 470% since that point. In the last 24-hours, the price was up by approximately 12% from wick-to-wick.

Moreover, the rise in the price over the day can be attributed to the announcement by Binance DEX, that was launched recently. The tweet read:

The new update will convert the BNB, which is an ERC20token, into BEP2, it will be called the “mainnet swap”. Furthermore, users have to convert their ERC20 tokens on Binance, the details of which will be released in the near future.

In addition, Mithril, a cryptocurrency project has announced that it will be the first project to migrate to the Binance Chain. It tweeted:



“$MITH token holders on the new @Binance_DEX will be the first to experience increased speed, security, and user friendliness while maintaining full control over their funds.”

A Twitter user, @carlitosblvd123, commented:

“So , all BNB we have now like erc20 in binance exchange and on trust wallet will be converted to bep2 automatically or we have to do anything to happen?”

@jigneshon, another Twitter user commented:

“Crypto Revolution will happen on 23rd April when Binance Chain Genesis block will be created. 🔥”
