Alternatively, you can take the free-to-play route as an Adventurer, fulfilling quests and building a career. Invest time and build up your skills to become one of the most sought-after professionals in the city.
These aside, you can pursue all kinds of engaging activities. Explore the virtual world, discover resources, and interact with other explorers. Capture exotic creatures and train them to take part in exhilarating Arena combat. Reach Grandmaster level to craft exclusive items you can sell on the NFT Market. If assets become too expensive, you may pool your resources with other players and invest as a public company (DAO).
Find your faction
Join one of the illustrious factions of Cryptopia, each one eager for recruits as they vie for superiority in the fledgling nation-state.
You may join the Industrial faction as they aim to reap vast profits by any means, or you can ally with the Eco faction as they fight for a carbon-free economy. The Tech faction aims to catapult Cryptopia into a futuristic society, while the Traditional faction envisions a city where human welfare takes priority. If you prefer something more exotic, the Pirates are a marauding scourge who plunder ships around Cryptopia, while the Bounty Hunters chase them down for the promise of a reward.
Assets that you own
Cryptopia’s economy is powered by its native coin, CRT, which you may earn from quests, businesses, voting, and player transactions.
Various assets such as raw materials, blueprints, ships, and land titles are represented by fungible (ERC-20 and ERC-777) and non-fungible (ERC-721) tokens. You may harvest resources like wood and ore from the environment, but rarer tokens are obtained from quests, crafting, or marketplace trades.
There are two such marketplaces in-game. You may trade fungible tokens in the Swap Marketplace, where each token’s ‘conversion rate’ is based on supply and demand. NFT assets can be put up for sale in the NFT Marketplace through auctions or fixed prices. Finally, you may also sell your NFTs in third-party auctions like OpenSea.
