Curve’s active loans jump to $76.18M – Here’s what it signals for CRV

CRV has gained by more than 10% as staking, active loans, and protocol revenue strengthened bullish momentum.

Curve's active loans jump to $76.18M - Here's what it signals for CRV

Curve DAO [CRV] has resumed its bullish push after its buyers successfully defended a key technical support level during the recent pullback.

The token has since then posted two consecutive days of gains, spiking by 10% over the last 24 hours after rebounding from the 20-day EMA around $0.36. Bullish sentiment remains intact, with buyers stepping in before the correction could deepen.

Beyond the price action, the recovery is also being reinforced by stronger network fundamentals. Could the positive fundamentals accelerate the current momentum?

On-chain activity continues to improve

Taking a closer look at the network’s on-chain data, several key protocol metrics have spiked alongside CRV’s price action.

To begin with, Curve’s total staked volume has maintained above $300 million across the past two consecutive days, pointing to reducing liquid token supply while reflecting growing long-term confidence among holders.

At the same time, active loans across the protocol have expanded to $76.18 million, signaling stronger borrowing demand and higher DeFi activity. Protocol revenue was also not left behind.

The network revenue has spiked to $158K, suggesting increased usage of the Curve ecosystem and healthier network fundamentals.

The combination of higher staking, expanding lending activity, and rising revenue points to improving ecosystem participation rather than a rally driven solely by speculation.

Can CRV extend the rally to  $0.4156?

The token’s long-term structure still leans to the bulls. On the daily chart, the token is still trading above major key EMAs, with the next big obstacle lying at the $0.4156 resistance level.

A break above this price will validate the continuation of the prevailing uptrend and may even spark some buying enthusiasm. However, buyers must first hold above the 20-day EMA, as it has once again established itself as a key support point.

If buying pressure remains strong and on-chain activity continues to improve, the probability of a continuation rally to the resistance zone is more likely to come into pass.

Final Summary

  • CRV has gained over 10% over the past 24 hours, extending its  recovery after finding support at a key EMA support.
  • The network’s rising staking activity, active loans, and protocol revenue point to its improving on-chain fundamentals.
