DEXE risks deeper fall after 12% drop – Can 54K holders change that?

More holders arrived while price collapsed. Are they accumulating or receiving transferred supply?

DeXe [DEXE] fell roughly 12% alongside the broader crypto market, bringing a long-standing support zone back into focus.

The decline left DEXE near $2.280. Its next reaction could determine whether the altcoin stabilizes or extends its losses.

Can DEXE defend $2.28?

DEXE had revisited the $2.280 region several times since 2022, making it an important long-term support zone.

A recovery from this level could bring the $4.124 resistance into focus. Stronger momentum may then support a move toward $7.155.

However, losing $2.280 could expose DEXE to further downside.

The chart marked $0.136 as the all-time low. Still, this remained an extreme reference rather than an immediate target.

Moreover, CoinGlass data showed the Whale vs Retail Delta rising above 0.40 as DEXE declined. The positive reading indicated that whale positioning outweighed retail positioning.

Could liquidity pull DEXE lower?

The 48-hour Liquidation Heatmap showed dense liquidity below DEXE’s market price. The closest notable cluster appeared between $2.085 and $2.160.

These levels represented potential liquidation zones rather than resting buy orders.

Price could move toward these clusters if selling continues. However, the chart alone cannot confirm an engineered stop hunt.

Even so, the Open Interest-weighted Funding Rate offered an early bullish signal. The rate had remained negative since the 21st of July but was rising sharply toward positive territory. That shift suggested bearish positioning was easing as some derivatives traders moved toward long positions.

Can rising holders support recovery?

DEXE’s Total Holders reached an all-time high of 54,680 on the 31st of July. The increase continued despite the token’s sharp price decline.

At the same time, Spot Netflow indicated that traders absorbed approximately $980,009 worth of DEXE over the past day. That alignment suggested accumulation continued while the price tested its long-term support.

However, holder growth and Spot Netflow cannot guarantee a rebound without stronger price confirmation.

For now, the $2.280 support remains decisive. Holding it could stabilize DEXE, while a breakdown may expose nearby liquidity.

Final Summary

  • DEXE tested its long-standing $2.280 support after falling roughly 12%.
  • Liquidity between $2.085 and $2.160 could attract price if support fails.
