  • Hamster Kombat confirms HMSTR token launch despite internal team tensions.
  • NOT token sees a 3.635% rise, but bearish indicators still dominate the market.

Amid rising tensions within the Hamster Kombat team, concerns have emerged about the project’s future, particularly regarding the anticipated HMSTR token.

Despite the internal conflicts reported by local Russian media, there’s a silver lining for players.

Hamster Kombat breaks silence on token launch

Hamster Kombat, the leading tap-to-earn game on Telegram, has confirmed that it will proceed with the launch of its highly anticipated HMSTR token on The Open Network (TON) on 26th September, alongside the planned airdrop for its dedicated player base.

Confirming the same, the official account of Hamster Kombat took to X and noted,

“Save the date for Hamster Kombat’s TGE and AirDrop — September 26th!”

This news was  revered well by the crypto community as highlighted by an X user – Cryptoquween who said,

“Finallyyyyyyyyyyy, the news we’ve been waiting for 😎 lfggggg.”

Sharing a similar line of thought was another X account under the name- Satoshi Mining Updates who added,

“Whole crypto community were waiting!!! Hoping for fair & good Airdrop.”

However not everyone was happy with the news as Pushpendra Singh, co-founder of PushpenderaTech and SmartViewAI would put it,

The platform’s impressive performance since its launch

For those unaware, the HMSTR token launch, originally scheduled for a July release,  faced delays as the Hamster Kombat team required additional time to prepare for the large-scale rollout.

That being said, since its spring launch, the game has amassed an impressive following of over 300 million players, with more than 80 million active participants just in the past month, according to Telegram data.

Appreciating the platform’s performance, Telegram founder Pavel Durov, in his July Telegram post had said,

“It took Hamster only 73 days to reach 100 million monthly users. As I said a few months back, a new wave of mini apps on Telegram is coming, and Hamster Kombat is now leading the pack.”

What ties Hamster Kombat to Notcoin?

Hamster Kombat operates similarly to Notcoin [NOT], enabling users to earn tokens by engaging in a game directly within a Telegram-based mini app, making the process as simple as starting a chat.

Affirming the same, the Hamster Kombat team in a recent live session recognized Notcoin’s influence on their success and emphasized that utilizing Telegram’s social features has been instrumental in boosting the game’s popularity.

As of the latest update, the token launch news positively impacted the price of NOT, which was trading at $0.009 at press time, reflecting a 4.89% increase over the past 24 hours as per CoinMarketCap.

However, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) remains below the neutral mark at 37, indicating that bears are still dominating the market.

This bearish sentiment was further supported by the MACD indicator, which was below the signal line (orange) with a red histogram.

Nevertheless, if the NOT coin can break through the resistance level at $0.0099, the token could be poised for a bullish rally.
