Humanity [H] jumps 15% despite falling Open Interest – Just bad timing?

H token found buyers in Spot markets. Its next advance may require derivatives traders to return.

Humanity [H], the native token of Humanity Protocol, climbed 15.08% over 24 hours to $0.0830. The decentralized identity network uses palm-scan biometrics to verify human uniqueness online.

Trading Volume also increased 104.6% to $9.35 million, showing greater participation during the recovery. However, H approached the $0.085 resistance level, placing the rally near its first major test.

Can stronger Spot activity overcome declining derivatives participation and extend the recovery?

Can Humanity sustain its 15% rally?

Despite the daily price expansion, Humanity’s derivatives outlook moved in the opposite direction.

At press time, the Open Interest [OI] had declined 7.12% to $42.96 million during the period of price expansion.

The falling OI suggests that market participants have decreased their leveraged positions while Humanity pushed higher.

This scenario typically creates a notable divergence between spot market activity and derivatives participation.

The trading volume expanded considerably while the overall futures positioning remained contracted.

Hence, the rally appeared to have attracted stronger market activity without producing greater speculative exposure.

The divergence raises questions about whether the move reflects a sustained demand or just short-term buying pressure.

Are Binance traders too bullish?

Binance’s Top Trader Long/Short Ratio provides a more bullish signal despite the decline in overall Open Interest.

According to CoinGlass analytics, the long positions account for around 70.64% of the total, while short positions represent only 29.36%.

This positioning resulted in a Long/Short Ratio of 2.41, showing that influential market participants continue to favor Humanity’s recovery attempts.

The declining OI, however, suggested that this bullish bias had not translated into broader growth in leveraged exposure.

Therefore, the combination points to confidence among active traders, but not yet expanding derivatives participation.

Can H break above $0.085?

Humanity’s technical structure also favors buyers after price defended the $0.070 support level.

The immediate resistance now sits at $0.085, which could play a significant role in the next phase of the token’s recovery.

The Directional Movement Index indicator is in support of the bullish setup, with +D at 26.60 above -D at 15.64. This gap shows that buyers currently hold the stronger directional advantage over the sellers.

Meanwhile, the ADX reading sits at 26.9, indicating that the current trend has considerable strength behind it.

Notably, a clear breakout above the $0.085 resistance level would expose the $0.1500 zone as the next major upside zone.

However, rejection at this resistance level could keep the token consolidating between the $0.070 and $0.085 price range.

Overall, the price action, DMI readings, and Binance positioning favor further upside for now, while the falling OI remains the main warning that the rally lacks expanding leveraged participation.
