Charlie Lee, the Co-Founder of Litecoin [LTC] and former Director of Engineering at the cryptocurrency platform Coinbase, has reported that he will be a consultant to HTC’s Exodus smartphone. Designed to launch in autumn, Exodus is the first smartphone created mainly for “decentralized applications and security”.

HTC remarked that with an experience of 2 decades in the Smartphone business and producing more than 100 million phones, they believe that it is their responsibility “to reshape the internet” and “make decentralization a reality”.

In addition to Litecoin [LTC], HTC intends to offer help for Bitcoin [BTC] and Ethereum [ETH], through its smartphone’s blockchain. As indicated by the multinational electronics organization, Exodus will encourage cryptographic trading between clients of its devices.

The official website of HTC Exodus, stated:

“Our vision is to expand the blockchain ecosystem by creating the world’s first phone dedicated to decentralized applications and security.”

As indicated by Lee, he met with the HTC Exodus group a week ago and was “very excited” that the smartphone will “support LTC and Lightning Network on Litecoin locally”. He feels that a “safe crypto phone that makes LN [Lightning Network] straightforward” is the way to anchoring mass acceptance of the technology.
