Livetree is the first organization in the world that combined two fields of TV, Film and Content copyrighting and Blockchain technology. Established two years ago the company has seen a sustainable growth by capturing 5% market share in the UK entertainment crowdfunding market. Now, they have come up with a brand new idea of capturing the market audience to scale their business.
Livetree on Feb 6th announced the plan of action to launch two new projects that will educate the wider audience on the topic of cryptocurrency and blockchain.
- The first project is one of its kind, a game called CryptoShare.
- The second project will be a film series called “Decentralised” focussed on the topic of the blockchain.
What is the Game?
CryptoShare will be the first game to be introduced in the domain of cryptocurrency. The viewers will be benefitted as they watch and select the tokens of the winning teams. The teams will be judged by a prolific panel of blockchain investors. The judges don’t stop there, they also explain the merits and demerits of the ICO pitches so that both the team and the audience can get benefitted out of the use cases.
An innovative film series directed by independent filmmaker Christopher Arcella and has Erik Vesterlund as technical co-producer. Starring a known artist Amari Cheatom who had roles to play in films like Django Unchained, Love Under New Management, The Miki Howard Story and, Night Catches Us, the film revolves around the story of a young economics professor as he learns about blockchain through a lens of healthy skepticism.
The story is written to provide an educational narrative in a fictional setting to help people completely unfamiliar with the technology to gain some initial footing.
Alvar Kepler, a Financial Advisor from Tallinn, says,
“The entertainment industry is huge, we have had technology in the VR space before but the Television industry has not been explored so far. I have always been skeptical of ICOs and new tokens but Livetree seems promising, they can make a difference”
Livetree aims at revolutionizing the industry by attracting crowdfunding for the film projects thereby reducing the distribution cost as well the as burden on the people funding the project. The organization learned it the hard way and wants the future to be something different that many people always dreamt of.
They also have partnered with premier institutes in the industry like the British Film Institute’s Future Labs, Film London, Red Rock Entertainment, along with a worldwide database of over 14,000 contacts from across the entertainment industry.
