Binance had recently announced the progress towards decentralized exchanges with the launch of a new decentralized exchange. They are currently a centralized exchange boasting a number of users greater than the entire population of Hong Kong which is approximately 7.9 million. This decentralized exchange is called Binance Chain where clients can use Binance native’s BNB token.
They have also been hosting a community-driven coding competition called Dexathon which according to them will give a jumpstart the development of the decentralized exchange. They have organized a prize pool of $1 million BNB tokens as incentives along with some special grants of $10,000 to teams that qualify for the development of blockchain.
Users have been tweeting to the team with difficulties in trading despite them officially announcing an active trade.
“One hour and still no trading, really? Why Binance, what’s up? You guys should announce it when it’s actually on for trading… not when it is unavailable.”
Ben Yazdani tweeted:
“Christ almighty let’s go, don’t tweet about listing a coin if it’s not live yet! You guys are better than that.”
“Lol up .05 to .35 since post Binance buyers beware this is gonna get dumped when it opens up. Be patient and wait for dip to enter.”
A Twitter user comments:
“Finally @binance you actually list a real alt-coin and not just #1500 on coin marketcap shit coin with $29.99 in volume.”
