Next Hamster Kombat? Axie Pals & Dogizen Offer New GameFi Frontier

GeeZee believes that “Hamster Kombat is fun, but ‘tapping’ needs an overhaul.” In a recent Cointelegraph piece, GeeZee outlined a near future consisting of swipe-to-earn and jump-to-earn games on the basis that they provide more “dynamic interactions.” While at the same time remaining simple and inviting enough for the mass market.

Dogizen and Axie Infinity are already on the case

The studio behind GameFi hit Axie Infinity has just launched Axie Pals. This nifty little Chrome extension allows gamers to care for and interact with their virtual NFT pet, on-screen, 24/7. Think of it like a Web browser hosted Tamagotchi. This virtual pet offers the owner the ability to earn AXP as it evolves, and while the owner browses the Web, tweets, etc.
