Solana hits 112M transactions, SOL races toward $88 — What’s next?

There's also a big tokenized equities share to consider.

Solana hits 112M transactions, SOL races toward $88 — What’s next?

The demand for tokenized assets is soaring, and the proof is in Solana’s [SOL] numbers. With that, native token SOL could be entering an important phase for price action.

Here’s why.

Solana daily transactions hit a new all-time high

The network recorded 112 million successful non-vote transactions in a single day; that’s a new all-time high! Activity was building steadily through August, with successful transactions making up the larger share of network usage.

Non-vote transactions show actual activity across applications, transfers and other on-chain interactions, rather than validator voting.

That’s why this is important.

Tokenized equities on Solana cross $465 million

The total circulating supply of tokenized equities on Solana has now crossed $465 million. That’s also a weekly all time high!

There’s been a long-term rise; supply moved from near zero in mid-2025 to well above $400 million this year.

There have been some pullbacks along the way, but we’re looking upwards.

For Solana, this means the network is being used as a base for bringing real-world financial assets on-chain. If this expands, they could become an important source of activity for the network. Subsequently, they could support demand for SOL over time.

SOL jumps to $88

SOL was up at nearly $88 at the time of writing, with much of the move powered by the  August 19 surge. The crypto industry received a lift from Washington; this includes developments in the long end of the U.S. Treasury market and encouragement from U.S. President Donald Trump to move crypto market structure legislation forward.

The optimism has clearly helped Solana.

MACD was positive, so there’s bullish pace; but all’s not rosy, though. The RSI was at 77, so SOL was firmly overbought. That could leave the token vulnerable to a short-term pullback.

That being said, the current state of things certainly give the network and its traders a reason to rejoice.

Final Summary

  • Solana hit a record 112 million daily non-vote transactions; tokenized equities on the network crossed $465 million.
  • SOL rallied toward $88, but the pace is expected to slow.
