Tron [TRX] announces Raybo as a Super Representative candidate, network grows

On 6th August, Justin Sun announced that Raybo, the Chinese blockchain giant, will be running for the Tron Super Representative position. The Tron Foundation has stated that the inclusion of Raybo in the network will make the network more inclusive and will provide more outreach.

The tweet stated:

“Raybo will run for #TRONSR. Raybo has been committed to promoting decentralized distributed clearing technology represented by Ripple in Greater China, promoting blockchain clearing technology in financial institutions such as banks. #TRON #TRX $TRX”

At present, Tron has over 63 candidates for the Super Representative position. Raybo aims to become part of a community, which is said to “display Tron’s inclusiveness and openness as a decentralized and autonomous community.”

As an SR member of the Tron Foundation, they will have a major role in the future governance structure of the firm and will mainly represent the will of the people. It is also said that the Super Representative will act as guardians of the Tron network and actively participate in the calculation and validation of the network.

The entire process of the candidacy for the Tron Super Representative is democratic with the ultimate goal to ensure proper governance of the network. Raybo has also stated that “it is willing to participate in carrying out the efforts of promoting the blockchain technology.”

The Tron Foundation was also in the news for conducting its first-ever global all-hands meeting, where all the members from Beijing, as well as San Francisco, attended the meeting. The Foundation stated that the Tron family has grown from 108 members to 300 members. They have stated that this will allow Tron to surpass Ethereum.

With recent updates on the Tron network, the company has made it a priority to increase the user base and the number of ‘TRONICS’ present. The company stated that the online store was opened for flash sales on 30th July to a grand reception. The report also shows that on 28th July, Tron had an activity collecting videos related to the Tron Independence day and Tron Virtual Machine releases on Facebook.

Bitcoin Cash [BCH] recently made headlines when the CEO of Bitcoin.com, Roger Ver got involved in a bet of $10,000 with Tone Vays, a popular Bitcoin maximalist which the former lost. After launching a free point-of-scale solution, Bitcoin Cash Register for Android operating systems, Bitcoin.com and its developers have rolled out an iOS version of the same.

Bitcoin Cash register allows anyone with an Android or iOS device to accept BCH payments. This came as a part of the company’s agenda to promote the adoption of crypto in the mainstream. With the installment Bitcoin Cash Register, it would be easier for retailers to accept BCH as payment from customers.



As reported by Bitcoin.com, Bitcoin Cash Register claims to be easy to use without any prior account registration and the transactions are carried out in a non-custodial manner. This was confirmed by Bitcoin.com via a tweet:

The bet between Roger Ver and Tone Vays regarding the low transaction fee had left the social media divided, with proponents on both sides arguing about the authenticity of the bet and factors taken into consideration while betting.
