On Friday, VeChain introduced Assetlink, a Joint Supply Chain Management Application of Xiamen Innov, Corelink, and VeChain.
Xiamen Innov Information Technology Co. LTD [Innov] is leading manufacturing company that specializes in research, production, and sales. Primarily known for their RFID products, Innov worked with VeChain towards integrating VeChainThor technology in a wide range of solutions. They also have partnerships with Coca-Cola, Hyundai, Samsung, Lenovo, Huawei, ZTE, Coolpad, Apple, DELL, and ASUS.
Smart Corelink, a strategic partner with Aliyun, and Alibaba’s cloud computing subsidiary is now a partner of VeChain, too. Corelink provides application software development services, cloud platform software services, and hardware supply chain services to its clients.
The combined efforts of Xiamen Innov, Corelink, and VeChain lead to the development of an enterprise-level decentralized application [dApp] named AssetLink manager that will run on a P2P network of computers rather than a single computer. They have developed the first version of the app.
It will not only make use of blockchain technology but also IoT technologies, artificial intelligence and cloud technologies in combination with it. The app can be used by enterprises to record and track physical assets, inventories, and corresponding outputted data.
VeChain mentioned that:
“From now until the release of mainnet, Xiamen Innov and Smart Corelink will be working to onboard their existing customers onto this service providing robust supply chain management, smart appliance solutions, and product lifespan analytic modules that provide immense value as defined by their pilot members”
This will provide smart contract, subchain, transaction, and data aggregation management and help to integrate the Distributed Data Vending.
Anders Jepsen, a Twitter user said:
“Bravo! VeChain continues to lead the way for enterprise-level adoption of blockchain technology”
Nick, a cryptocurrency investor said:
“Oh my goodness! So much good news you guys are seriously gonna have a foot in each major global sector in the coming years!”
A Reddit user said:
“First detailed application for tracking physical goods through the entire supply chain. This is massive – blockchain is finally delivering real-world business value! I don’t think people are realising how big of an annoucement this is.”
