Why is DEXE up 147% today? – Volume, liquidations & more…

DEXE surged 147% as volume soared and bullish traders strengthened positions despite improving social sentiment.

DEXE crypto grabbed market attention after it surged 147.15% over the past 24 hours, while trading volume jumped 160.93% to more than $701 million.

The sharp increase reflected strong participation instead of a liquidity-driven spike, suggesting buyers actively chased the breakout.  The move also pushed DEXE’s market capitalization to roughly $366.77 million, reinforcing renewed interest across the market.

However, the rapid advance also raised questions about whether speculative demand had begun outpacing sustainable accumulation.

Investors closely watched derivatives positioning and sentiment indicators for confirmation because aggressive rallies often encouraged profit-taking.

Even so, the strong expansion in both price and volume indicated that buyers retained control during the latest advance.

Did social sentiment truly drive DEXE?

Market sentiment improved during the rally, although social activity did not appear to lead the price explosion.

DEXE recorded a net positive social sentiment score of 4.68/10, supported by growing discussion surrounding a possible listing on the Moonshot leaderboard

That development increased community engagement and strengthened visibility across crypto discussions.

However, the broader Altcoin Season Index remained at 52, reflecting only a mild risk-on environment rather than widespread speculative enthusiasm.

Those readings suggested that social interest complemented the rally instead of initiating it.

As a result, price appreciation appeared to rely more heavily on capital inflows than on online excitement.

Bulls refused to back down

Derivatives traders maintained a strong bullish stance despite DEXE’s extraordinary appreciation.

Binance’s Top Trader Long/Short Ratio showed 62.16% of accounts holding long positions, while only 37.84% remained short, producing a healthy 1.64 long-to-short ratio.

Those figures suggested experienced traders continued expecting additional upside instead of reducing exposure after the rally.

Liquidation data also supported that narrative. Long liquidations reached approximately $583.72K, whereas short liquidations totaled roughly $1.60 million, indicating bearish traders absorbed greater losses during the latest move.

That imbalance reflected persistent buying pressure which forced many short positions out of the market.

Even so, increasingly crowded long positioning could amplify volatility because any sharp reversal would likely encourage leveraged traders to reduce exposure quickly.

Where could DEXE head after its rebound?

DEXE rebounded from support near $3.91 and closed around $5.03, recovering after an aggressive sell-off erased much of its previous gains.

The daily RSI also recovered from deeply oversold territory, climbing to approximately 30.40, although it remained below the neutral 50 level.

That reading showed selling pressure eased considerably, yet buyers had not fully regained control.

Price also stayed below the nearest resistance around $13.81, leaving substantial overhead supply before any broader recovery could develop.

If RSI continues rising above its current level while buyers defend the $3.90-$5.00 region, DEXE could attempt another recovery toward $13.81.

However, losing the recent support zone would expose the token to renewed downside pressure because bullish conviction would likely weaken after such a steep correction.

To sum up, DEXE’s rally reflected genuine market participation through surging volume, positive trader positioning, and improving sentiment rather than a single isolated catalyst.

However, the technical structure still required confirmation after the sharp correction.

If buyers continue defending current support while RSI strengthens further, the recovery could extend toward higher resistance levels.

Final Summary

  • DEXE attracted strong buying interest as volume and bullish positioning climbed sharply together.
  • RSI started recovering, but key resistance still determined whether the rebound could continue.
