World Liberty Financial: Can $6M in whale buying help WLFI reclaim $0.06?

World Liberty Financial: Can $6M in whale buying help WLFI reclaim $0.06?

World Liberty Financial [WLFI] surged to a local high of $0.061 four days ago. However, the uptick proved short-lived as it retraced heavily.

As AMBCrypto earlier reported, WLFI retreated as most traders remained bearish. Moreover, the surge was driven by increased speculation, which also faded very fast. Since then, WLFI bulls have attempted to retake the market, but $0.06 has proved difficult to breach.

At press time, WLFI was trading around $0.058. At the same time, trading volume fell 13% to $42 million, indicating a market slowdown.

Whale scoops up $6.18M in WLFI

With  the market cooling down, some whales have taken the opportunity to retake positions. According to Arkham data, one whale has been continuously withdrawing large amounts of WLFI from Binance.

Nazoku reported that a whale withdrew 90 million WLFI from Binance and received another 18.7 million WLFI from other wallets. In total, the whale has accumulated 108.45 million WLFI worth $6.18 million.

With the whale continuing to dig in, it signals strong optimism, as they anticipate more gains on the charts.

In fact, exchange activity echoes this whale accumulation. According to CoinGlass, Spot Netflow has remained negative for 12 consecutive days.

Such a sustained period of strong accumulation has often preceded better, strong performances.

World Liberty Financial still raising market concerns

Although the whale is showing optimism, other market participants are heavily cautious. The cautious approach arises from the Trump family and co-founder’s decision to move WLFI in preparation to sell. Washington Sun reported that Trump and other founders moved 20 billion WLFI into new vesting contracts.

The move is a major step that would allow them to cash out and get a payout. This has intensified concerns from some market players and watchdogs not only over conflicts of interest but also likely selling pressure.

In the event of a sale from such major market players, the altcoin is likely to plummet.

What’s next?

For now, although the upside momentum is weakening, the market still leans bullish. The Bulls Vs. Bears (BvB) indicator has remained positive and held at 5, as of writing.

At the same time, the Relative Strength Index (RSI) hovered above 50, suggesting that buyers are still active and the trend is likely to hold.

If whale demand holds, WLFI will close above $0.058 to $0.06. However, if the slowdown persists, RSI will drop below 50 and signal a trend reversal, with the likelihood of falling to $0.054.

Final Summary

  • A World Liberty Financial whale purchased 108 million WLFI worth $6.18 million.
  • WLFI market structure remains bullishly cautious after the Trump family and founders allegedly prepare to sell holdings.
