Worldcoin goes Wall Street: World ID suite rolls out for banks and financial firms
Worldcoin rolled out World ID for banks and financial firms as it seeks to protect financial firms against AI threat.
Worldcoin [WLD] is expanding its influence deeper into the financial sector. In the latest milestone, World rolled out a World ID suite for banks and financial firms.
Worldcoin rolls out ID for banks and financial firms
In recent years, AI has made great advances, making impersonation highly convincing. These advancements have posed major challenges for financial institutions, including those in the crypto sector.
Amid this growth, Worldcoin has positioned itself as a major solution provider, helping to mitigate AI-related risks in the financial sector. For that reason, World rolled out World ID for banking and finance.
The rollout includes an identity wallet app, real-time Zoom verification, and proofs for AI agents that handle transactions. The technology aims to help institutions establish trust through privacy-preserving cryptographic proofs.
According to World Network, a Zoom ID allows meeting participants to confirm that they are the same person who was verified by an orb. At the same time, the ID for agents will allow AI agents to carry proofs delegated by actual people.
In this venture, World has partnered with major institutions on the design. Some of these institutions include Bain Capital, OpenExchange, Outtake, Pantera Capital, and VanEck Funds.
Tiago Sada hailed the rollout, noting that the verification step aims to protect the global financial system against security attacks.
WLD remains stubbornly bearish
Despite the announcement, WLD has barely moved on the charts. On the 19th of October, WLD opened at $0.48 and was trading around $0.49 at press time.
Worldcoin’s extended stay below $0.5 is driven by strong selling pressure, with the token facing intense bearish pressure from both the Spot and derivatives markets.

On the Spot side, Worldcoin’s Netflow turned positive for the first time in twelve days. At press time, Spot Netflow was around 1.5 million, marking a reversal from -378k recorded the previous day.
On the derivatives side, sentiment also flipped bearish again. Over the past 24 hours, Worldcoin recorded $234 million in Futures outflows, compared to $215 million in inflows.

With outflows outpacing inflows, Futures Netflow stood at around -$18.9 million, a clear sign of aggressive futures exits.
What’s next?
The latest Worldcoin rollout doesn’t seem to have incentivized buyers to return. In fact, market momentum remains bearish.
For starters, the altcoin’s Positive Directional Indicator (+DI) formed a bearish crossover and then fell to 20.
At the same time, the Negative Directional Indicator (-DI) rose to 23. A rising -DI while +DI declines suggests that downside momentum remains strong.

The MACD further supports this trend, with the indicator falling to 0.006. Together, the two indicators suggest that bears have gained ground in the market and that the current trend could continue.
Therefore, if selling pressure persists across the market, Worldcoin could extend its stay below $0.5 and drop to $0.45.
However, if the World ID rollout for financial institutions incentivizes buyers to return, we could see a rebound above $0.5 and a move toward $0.55 in the short term.
Final summary
- Worldcoin rolled out World ID for banks and financial firms, including an identity wallet app, real-time Zoom verification, and proofs for AI agents.
- However, WLD is in danger of falling to $0.45.
