LBank hosts first-ever meet-up in Latin America gearing up for expansion in region
Global crypto exchange LBank is kicking off its first meet-up in Latin America with 7 influential speakers representing the local Web3 community. The event will be held on April 18, at the IGLOO Network in Brazil’s thriving financial hub São Paulo.
LBank is teaming up with blockchain technology service ChainUp, crypto assets investment management platform KRYP.TOOLS and local crypto news site Criptonizando to host the meet-up. The event, aptly named “WEB3 LATAM: Perspectives and current trends of the crypto market in Brazil and Latin America” aims to bring the local community together, as well as provoke quality discussion and debate on pressing matters in the industry.
At least 7 local experts will lead panels and lectures on the ongoing revolutions and trends within the world of decentralized digital assets in Latin America. Perspectives on the regulation of cryptocurrencies in the region, as well as the challenges and opportunities for investment in digital assets and tokenization, are also expected to be hot topics. Furthermore, participants will be able to network with other professionals and enthusiasts during the event.
Among the guest speakers are Evelyne Yao, Strategy and Innovation Specialist at Banco Votorantim, Daniel de Paiva Gomes, Bitcoin author and blockchain researcher, Daniel Coquieri, CEO of Liqi Digital Assets, and Fabrício Tota, Director of Mercado Bitcoin.
LBank’s first Latin American meet-up heralds the start of the exchange’s ambitious plans to gain more ground in the region. São Paulo is also emerging as a key player in the region’s Web3 scene, with many startups, investors, and entrepreneurs flocking to the city. “This event is a great way to kick-start our expansion as we build relations with some of the biggest names in the local crypto industry. Our team will also get to spend valuable time with our retail and institutional investors,” said Henrique Marinho, LBank’s head of Latin America.
