BNB Chain adds to Builder Support Program to promote impactful Web3 development

BNB Chain, the community-driven blockchain ecosystem, has added to its comprehensive Web3 Builder Support Program with the addition of a Founder Track and additional partner to the MVB (Most Valuable Builder) accelerator program.

BNB Chain is focused on lowering the barrier to entry for Web3 users. One way it does this is by introducing solutions like opBNB that realize a near-gasless environment and drastically increase TPS. But BNB Chain also maintains a keen focus on incentivizing and fostering impactful Web3 innovation from the developer community.

BNB Chain’s Builder Support Program includes a number of components. These include:

Hackathons: Take place in key Web3 development markets around the world and offer builders funds and mentorship to supercharge the development of their project

MVB accelerator program: In partnership with both Binance Labs and CMC Labs, offers a Startup Track that supports early builders and a Founder Track to incubate 100 new projects on BNB Chain

Builder Grants: Awarded to impactful projects building open-source infrastructure and developer tooling

Gas Grants: Grants up to $15k monthly to accelerate project growth

Kickstart: Provides essential tools and services from BNB Chain ecosystem partners to further support development

All parts of the BNB Chain Builder Support Program are interconnected. For instance, projects contributing impactful ideas at BNB Chain hackathons have a greater chance of a successful MVB application. BNB Chain Gas and Builder Grants are also offered in parallel with MVB.

Season seven of MVB saw not only the introduction of the Founder Track but also the addition of CMC Labs as a strategic partner. CMC Labs is CoinMarketCap’s accelerator program for ambitious, early-stage projects.
