Flickto voting platform launch: A chance to win rFLICK by making an account

The team at Flickto has been working extremely hard on the front and back end of their platform over the past few months. The voting platform Flickto is launching will be the beta version as the team tests all the features and functions within the platform. The platform launch will enable Flickto to celebrate another milestone within the roadmap to fulfill the mission of DeMe (Decentralised Media). 

The team has announced a giveaway of a new feature on the platform referred to as ‘rFLICK’ and the Cardano Community has raised questions as to what rFLICK is and how do the community get involved in this giveaway?

rFLICK

rFLICK is a virtual voting token that will only be used within the Flickto voting platform. The token will not have any monetary value so users cannot sell it or buy it, however, it will be worth a 1to1 value with the FLICK token within the platform. In essence, the token will only be used internally within the platform to determine how Flickto pays their community within the voting process. This allows users to hold onto their FLICK without asking to send it to the Flickto team, unlike some projects who ask their community for their tokens.

Flickto has designed a system that will use smart contracts to allow Flickto users to swap their FLICK tokens into voting credits (rFLICK) on the Flickto voting platform. Instead of requesting users to send their FLICK tokens, the team has created this voting token, ensuring that you retain full control of your tokens.

Voting credits (rFLICK) are not a separate token from FLICK; the utility of this feature comes from Flickto’s ability to track what users have voted on and to be used for internal purposes such as calculating percentages for project payouts. After converting your FLICK token to ‘rFLICK,’ users can assign their credits to multiple projects at once and remove or add voting credits until the Flickto team closes the voting round.

This is to allow members of the platform to contribute to the passive income concept of DeMe (Decentralised Media) which is being pioneered by Flickto and is native to the Cardano network. 

Starting from March 31st, 2022 at 16:30 UTC until April 5th, 2022 at 21:45 UTC Flickto will be running a giveaway of 500 rFLICK to 500 people. To participate in this giveaway, all you need to do is create a Flickto account on the new platform in the given timeframe. The Flickto team will randomly select wallets and airdrop rFLICK tokens to the 500 winners of the giveaway.

So all you need to do is create an account on the platform before April 5th, 2022 at 21:45 UTC to be entered into the giveaway for 500 rFLICK!
