SAND technical analysis: Bears keep the bulls under their claws

The Sandbox has emerged as a front-runner in the metaverse arena. Over the past year, its native token has had quite a journey navigating market volatility. Thus, The Sandbox price prediction for 2024 provides an opportunity to examine the price’s movements.

An analysis of the high time frame (HTF) chart revealed bulls' initial attempts to survive in the market. This was evidenced by SAND's rebound from $0.50 in mid-May to test the resistance at $0.60. However, as the market crashed in June, SAND crumbled as well.

Thus, the price shed its gains and retraced its steps back to $0.42. At the time of writing, the metaverse token exchanged hands at $0.44.

If the bulls manage to replicate their previous success and reclaim $0.60, this will increase the chances of revisiting the highest resistance. • The Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) dropped below the zero line in late May and remained negative until late October, albeit with a brief surge in mid-July. Thereafter, the indicator maintained a positive stance, ending the period at 0.12. This was a downtick from previous highs, signifying an increase in selling pressure.
• The trading volume recovered modestly with the Q4 2023 rally. After dropping along with the price, it spiked considerably from February. This was again followed by a withdrawal of investors as the price was unable to sustain at high levels.
