SAND technical analysis: Dropping prices repel investors

The Sandbox has emerged as a front-runner in the metaverse arena. Over the past year, its native token has had quite a journey navigating market volatility. Thus, The Sandbox price prediction for 2024 provides an opportunity to examine the price’s movements.

An analysis of the weekly chart revealed that the initial period was characterized by substantial distribution ahead of a token unlock event in August 2023. The emergence of consecutive red candles over a month pulled the price below $0.30 in September. 

The buyers’ failed attempts to reclaim this level underscored the market pessimism. Buying pressure started to build in Q4 2023, triggering an uptrend. The bullish resurgence flipped the major resistance levels and elevated the price to test $0.60 by late December.
