ZIL technical analysis: Are bears losing strength? 

The comprehensive analysis of ZIL’s weekly chart revealed a narrative of volatility and market sentiment shifts, contributing to the Zilliqa price prediction for 2024 and beyond. Like many altcoins in Q3 2023, the asset struggled under the sellers. Consequently, it dropped below $0.019, bottoming at $0.015 in mid-August.

This level laid the groundwork for a recovery in mid-October. The following uptrend elevated the asset above the former level in November. After briefly stabilizing, ZIL challenged $0.026 in mid-December. Nonetheless, the buying sentiment waned in January, propelling a decline to $0.019. 
 

After the depreciation was halted at this level, the rally resumed in February. A month of back-to-back pumps culminated in the asset testing its highest resistance at $0.040 in March. However, profit-taking did not let this high sustain. Coupled with the market downturn in Q2 2024, ZIL lost its gains and moved below $0.026.

Subsequent tests of this level were succeeded by a decisive downtrend that compromised the 11-month support of $0.015, driving the price to a new low of $0.013 in July. This lowest support was a springboard for a mid-month recovery over the former level. 

This uptick in price could be attributed to Zilliqa’s partnership with Brillion. The collaboration marked a significant milestone in blending traditional asset management with decentralized finance (DeFi). 
 

Nevertheless, $0.015 was again lost to sellers by the end of July. Thus, the asset returned to its lowest floor. In late August, the price recovered to rechallenge the former level. At the time of writing, ZIL was valued at $0.014.
 

The bulls are still a long way from regaining dominance in the market. However, the weak selling sentiment might allow for a reversal in the short-to-medium term. A breakout above $0.026 would make the market favorable for buyers as they attempt to retest and reclaim the highest yearly barrier.
