Out of the many crypto-focused innovations across the globe, Tron has managed to gain limelight in the cryptospace, despite TRX’s average performance and reduction in market cap. While some crypto-enthusiasts attribute Tron’s success to the stellar marketing skills of CEO Justin Sun, much of the community has graciously welcomed its latest updates.
As a result of this aggressive approach towards developing the ecosystem, ongoing iterations and updates hint at the nearing launch of Tron MainNet to version 3.6. The information was shared through an official blog post that mentioned,
“With joint efforts from the development team at TRON, Odyssey-V3.6 will realize a more lightweight built-in event server with added protocol data check.”
While the latest update carries numerous additional features, some of the biggest highlights include clearing a contract’s existing ABI and enhancement of protocol data check to prevent malicious data on the chain. Additionally, the update will also include a lightweight built-in event server that can allow DApp developers to customize their own event service.
While the update is aimed at optimizing P2P networks, the Tron public chain promises to maximize user engagement to its ecosystem with free access and strong incentives. To sum it up, the Odyssey-V3.6 upgrade will realize a more lightweight built-in event server with added protocol data check. Hinting at greater participation from the community, the report mentions,
“Developers can use the TRON Protocol and the TVM to develop applications both for themselves and the community.”
