A [Consensus] Night to Remember

ZB Group has successfully hosted the prestigious ‘Consensus Night’ at MIMa, New York City this evening, May 14^th, 2019, along with ChainDD. The event took place in the evening of the second day of ‘Consensus’, by Coindesk, also in New York City.
‘Consensus Night’, an invitation-only gathering, was booked up over a week prior to its scheduled date. Over one hundred individuals added their names to the waitlist in hopes to attend.
The night started out with the welcome speeches of both hosts, ChainDD’s Founding Partner Ms.  Catherine Li, and ZB Group’s Vice President Ms. Aurora Wong.
ZB Group’s VP spoke on the challenges that the industry has overcome as well as those that still remain, “The crypto winter played an important role in revealing a more mature industry full of great opportunities.”
These opportunities are translated into technological advances, such as the leaders of Ethereum successfully working towards delivering Ethereum 2.0 and the steady growth of EOS community with more DAPPs being developed and coming online, as well as established institutions like JP Morgan and social media giants such as Facebook actively seeking blockchain solutions to address their own challenges.

The panelists shared their thoughts about the most interesting developments they see happening in the industry, different protocols on the Blockchain, asset tokenization and the exploration of new territory around ‘digital securities’ and security token offerings [STOs].
“Consensus Night” gathered professionals from leading industry companies, investment firms, financial security giants, global brands, academic institutions, and policy groups. It promoted deep conversation over wine and refreshments in the heart of Manhattan.
