On August 8th the Baikal Blockchain & Crypto Summit, the largest IT-event of this summer, will be held in the capital of Eastern Siberia. The international level forum will be visited by 500 guests from 10 countries. There will be investment funds from China, Japan and Korea, miners, crypto exchanges and local projects.
One of the largest mining clusters in Russia is concentrated in Eastern Siberia. The availability of high-quality and low-cost electricity as a result of four hydroelectric power plants, intellectual potential, entrepreneurial activity, equidistance from the European and Asian main capitals make Irkutsk an ideal place for the Summit and secure the status of the crypto capital of Eastern Siberia to the city.
The Summit is organized by such well-known experts in the crypto industry as Alexander Shulgin, an investor, a visionary and a composer, and Vladimir Popov, the author of the first books on the blockchain and cryptocurrency in Russia. Deep knowledge of the potential of the native region and trends in the industry allowed them to invite leading experts and make the Summit as useful as possible for all participants.
