Drunk Robots bring a new era of humor and ultraviolence with its NFT game
Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) have emerged as one of the most significant breakout use cases in the crypto industry. Even though it was launched in 2016, it only became popular this bull season after a digital artist known as Beeple sold his digital art for $69 million, making headlines around the world and providing the NFT market with much-needed exposure. Since then, several artists, celebrities, sports stars, and mainstream brands have launched NFTs, bringing in millions of dollars in an auction.
Since the first quarter of 2021, the NFT market has come a long way, and many projects with uniqueness and rarity from the early 2017s have fetched millions per NFT, whether it is CryptoPunks or ETHrocks. Now the latest trend in the NFT market seems to be around the gaming industry and Play-to-Earn NFT projects are in high demand. One such P2E NFT Game that has been making all the right noises is Drunk Robots.
Drunk Robots is a game that allows you to earn money while playing it in the form of an in-game crypto token called Metal ($MTL). It is built on the very popular Binance Smart Chain that facilitates easy and secure transactions at minimal costs. The setting of the game takes place in the not-too-distant future in a city called Los Machines, which is inhabited by insane robots.
The main goal in the gameplay for the Drunk Robots is to survive and seize the city that has been absorbed by the drunk junky robots whose only interests are METAL beer and violence.
Players will collect robots, guns, and other street garbage to boost their street cred. The gameplay involves Robbing stores and banks, competing in drunk races, joining dance battles, and beating the crap out of your opponents. Users can create their own gang or join one – more powerful gangs will rule the city while they are still alive.
A New Way to Make Sure your Wallet volume Increases
Drunk Robot game will use two main tokens: $LQT, the liquidifty.io platform’s native token, and $MTL, the Drunk Robots game’s main token. Shopping, health recovery, missions, and other activities will necessitate the use of $MTL. All rewards for completing minigames and farming will be paid in $MTL as well.
$LQT will be the secondary currency in the secondary market, where it can be exchanged, and it will also be used for certain actions. Staking LQT-BNB may be required to improve the characteristics of the robots. The players can also use the in-game rewards in the form of $MTL and $LQT to trade and make profits.
Drunk Robot released its first mini game in October this year giving a glimpse of what many other games in the series could potentially look like. The mini-game is accessible via desktop platforms.
This game guides players through the metaverse and allows them to visit the drunkard’s universe. The first mini-game is a browser-based survival game in which Knockout must shoot other robots. The mini-game is free to play, so users don’t need to own a container or Tokens to participate. Weekly leaderboards have been released and the game is now rewarding the top ten players in the world ranking.
How Drunk Robots boosted the Sales while Other Games Failed?
The Drunk Robot gameplay would offer players the opportunity to play individually or to establish a gang of robots to rule a part of the metaverse, the stronger a player’s gang, the better chances they have at winning. There will be a total of 10101 genesis robots with six different types, each with unique characteristics, abilities, appearances, and several robots will also possess native weapons. These robots would act as the rare NFTs in the ecosystem which players can use to play games and stand a chase to win valuable prizes.
The game would also have containers that players can buy and these containers would contain various rare robots and weapons. These containers would be very limited and rare and would offer a short time span to get in the primary market. Thus, players must try their best to get it in the primary market as its price would rise significantly in secondary markets.
There is only one type of container option left now but it started with three options. Users can now see the robots they have got in their container & the container will be burnt afterward. The project has already sold 6,670/10,000 Robots. The project already boasts of 13 bands with a total of over 4000 members. The project has also formulated a series of new partnerships to elevate its P2E game in the mainstream. The latest partnerships with CryptoBlades and Faraland and Wanaka Farm — one of the most significant gaming projects on BSC indicate about the possible valuation that the project would have in the coming years.
