Advertisements are a part of everyday life in our always-online world today. However, existing ad services have been mired in controversy and mishaps. This also comes with the pitfalls of being unable to connect those that want to advertise with those who provide advertising services.
There is one company that aims to change all of this and effectively disrupt the digital marketing industry. Enter Krios, a revolutionary new decentralized take on an affiliate network and campaign management platform. It is built on modern technologies and helps connect businesses seeking promotional and affiliation services with influencers and professionals who have relevant demographics and offer relevant services.
Krios allows users to build an outsourced marketing team, communicate with them, and collaborate to begin advertising in the most effective way. It offers users the ease of access for being able to pay with KriosCoin, the native token of the Krios ecosystem.
KriosCoin [KRI] is a utility token based on Ethereum’s blockchain technology. It is used as a unit of account between advertisers, publishers, content creators and businesses on the Krios platform. Moreover, holding KRI grants users access to the Krios Network ecosystem, thus allowing for a secure, private and decentralized method of confirming and conducting the transactions within the network.
The primary focus of the platform is to bring on those with skills to advertise and allow their clients to create cost-effective advertising campaigns. They can also choose to connect with the right affiliates and influencers on various social media platforms allowing them to target the specific demographic that they require.
After running a successful ICO for their KriosCoin ERC20 token, the company has made various strides into pushing the development of the product. Most notably, they released an app for iOS and Android devices known as KRIOS, which allows for wallet functionality on users’ mobile phones.
Users can utilize the KRIOS app for direct buying and selling of KRI after the APIs for exchanges have been integrated. However, they can send KRI to other users, monitor the balance of their wallet, and view the history of transactions that have taken place on the Krios blockchain.
Enthusiasts of the Krios network can use KRI in merchant services, thus allowing for purchases in real-world settings.
The wallet comes with high security for the user’s funds, providing 2 Factor Authentication to access funds stored in the wallet. It also provides public keys for every transaction that occurs in the app and other features such as a live currency value indicator in the users’ fiat.
The coin has moved from just being an ICO coin to a listed coin with KRI’s listing on the LAToken exchange. The platform has a turnover of $30 million every day, with over 80,000 registered traders and more than 180 pairs of cryptocurrencies available for trading.
The platform has also made considerable moves forward in the technology of their platform, recently introducing Krios user rating. The rating is aimed at building a trust and reputation system on the platform and will be used for confirmation of payment feedback.
After working for close to 8000 hours, the developers on the Krios network recently completed testing for their Mainnet. They conducted two live tests on the new blockchain, including two full-fledged advertising campaigns.
The Mainnet utilizes Hyperledger for the base blockchain layer, as it is fast and has low transaction speed, along with offering support for Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance. They have utilized other technologies such as Node.js, Angular, and MySQL to build the various parts of the Mainnet such as APIs, the front-end and databases for storing information respectively.
The Krios team has also launched a new bounty program for those willing to contribute to the Krios ecosystem. There will be a new phase for the bounty every month, with the first bounty being 5 million coins, and 2 million coins subsequently. The number of coins in each bounty will also depend on other activities. Users must register on the Krios website or BitcoinTalk forum to be eligible to participate in the program.
To mark their focus from raising capital in an ICO to the development and growing a user base, Krios has recently hired recognized names in the cryptocurrency space as part of the team.
AMBCrypto reached out to Krios to clarify questions that we had about the product.
Q: What inspired you to create Krios?
Frustration at dealing with dozens of different platforms to work effectively with an outsourced marketing team. We were using multiple different platforms for recruiting, communicating, sharing files, project management and payments. All of these came with fees form the greedy middlemen who are only providing one piece of a complex puzzle. Imagine all of those functions in one easy to use platform.
Q: How do you plan to drive adoption of the platform among users that are already using others?
The simplicity of using the Krios platform is going to save users massive amounts of wasted time and energy. Once a user experiences the convenience of being able to run an entire project from one dashboard, they’ll never want to go back.  We will bring awareness to the platform through proven marketing strategies which will see Krios appearing everywhere a potential user looks.
Q: In your whitepaper, you have mentioned that the interaction between advertisers, publishers, and the audience is important. How does your product improve the experience of everyone involved?
Traditionally, a business owner wanting to build  a remote team would;

  1. Use Upwork, Freelancer, Fiver, OnlineJobs etc to find and hire a contractor
  2. Use Skype, Messenger, Whatsapp, Slack, SMS etc to communicate
  3. Use Basecamp, Trello, Asana, Podio etc to manage the project and its tasks
  4. Use Drive, Dropbox, Box, WeTransfer etc to share and collaborate on files
  5. Use Paypal, Western Union, etc, in multiple currencies to make payments

It is not unusual for the business owner to use different platforms for each of these areas with different contractors. Now, you can do it all in one place. Krios.
Q: With regulatory clarity not being achieved in the US, how you plan to tackle these hurdles?
Krios is a global platform, designed for business owners from all over the planet. Different jurisdictions will always have different and changing requirements as this space is so new. We will adapt and change as needed, as the rules in different jurisdictions become clearer, always focused on what is the best, decentralized solution for our customers.
Q: Proceeding your partnership with Mercury Media, what other plans are in the pipeline to acquire more skills and professionals onto the platform?
We have more partnerships soon to be announced which will see more marketers coming on and bringing their contacts and workforces with them.
