In recent times, there has been an influx of ICOs and startups in the crypto sphere, introducing innovations or solutions to different problems. However, many ICOs turn out to be scams, raising concerns amongst investors who then become reluctant to invest in cryptocurrency and blockchain projects.
That’s why several legitimate ICOs suffer from defamation or lack of funding due to a few bad fishes in the tank. Therefore, startups find it difficult to launch their innovative projects that otherwise may contribute to a global democratic reordering. Investors face difficulties of identifying and recognizing ingenious projects and therefore cannot find the right projects to invest in.
Identifying and realizing the difficulties faced by the two ends of the crypto community, UCIM Pitcher Perfect provides a platform to match their needs. The event on 15th February brought together investors, startups, thought leaders, media houses, cryptocurrency and blockchain enthusiasts.
The event unfolded in four phases including stage pitches, velocity meetings, panel discussions, dinner, and after-parties. Selected projects got 10 minutes on stage to present their pitch to a jury of high-impact investors. Additionally, 50 velocity meetings were held to facilitate direct one-on-one interactions with investors.
P1 Token is revolutionizing the global real estate industry with blockchain. Chu Kheh Wee, CFO at P1 Token shared:
“It was a great experience at Pitcher Perfect as we got to share our idea with so many investors- both on stage as well as in private meetings. It has helped us a lot to take the next steps.”
Being the first real estate fund to be registered in Singapore as a Restricted Collective Investment Scheme for the issuance of Unit Token Offer, the project received a great response.
UCIM Pitcher Perfect’s efforts to bridge the gap between investors and ingenious projects resulted in amassing investment funds worth billions. To leverage the strong blockchain community, UCIM has scheduled the next event to take place at Berlin on April 24, 2019. Attending the events organized by UCIM Pitcher Perfect, startups can unveil unique opportunities to network and create partnerships with investors and other startups.
